Calling all living on Hawaiʻi Island! Take the Impact Status Surveys!
The Impact Status Surveys include three (3) surveys that focus specifically on household, community, and business needs and opportunities. By taking one or all of these surveys, you will help shape both near-term and long-term recovery efforts. The deadline for survey completion has been extended until August 30, 2019.
- The Household Impact and Opportunity Assessment will clarify unmet needs families are still experiencing and will be used to guide family outreach and long-term planning. Approximate completion time: 14 minutes.
- The Community Impact and Opportunity Assessment will provide direction for decisions about long-term recovery, including hazard mitigation, land use, natural & cultural resource management, infrastructure investments, housing, and economic development. The starting point objectives in this survey were drafted from the ideas, comments, and priorities shared by the 1000+ community members engaged in Phase I of the recovery planning process. Approximate completion time: 10 minutes.
- The Business Impact and Opportunity Assessment will identify ongoing economic impacts as well as challenges and opportunities for business recovery. Approximate completion time: 10 minutes.
All information from the surveys will be anonymous. The information you provide will be aggregated with other responses, and your identity will not be associated with any data generated from the survey results.
